Pusha T has tripled down on his Travis Scott diss, which he made on the track So Be It. So Be It is a track for the upcoming album of the collaborative project between Pusha and No Malice, Clipse. The singer has now further elaborated on his issue with Travis Scott, stating in an interview with Apple Music's The Ebro Show:
"I Just thought it was disrespectful. I'm like man, you know, we don't even want you here. To be honest, like we're not here to hobnob with any rappers, and I personally don't like rappers who don't rap. Like, I don't wanna hear that. Like, I don't want it."
The rapper continued:
"So, you know to come and interrupt the session, to do something backhanded and backbiting and not for nothing. Like man, I done had to put my arm around you before. You know what I'm saying, but you know to go along with the title, so be it. He does this numerous times, you know what I'm saying."
The rapper added:
"He'll do it with his mentor, Ye. You know what I'm saying. He was even instrumental in the whole beef now. The 'Like That' verse. You Know what I'm saying. Egging that on. I don't want nobody on who don't rap to egg nothing on. You don't rap. Stay out of rappers' business. You specifically, stay out of rappers' business. Don't do that."
A brief recap of the events preceding Pusha T's statement on The Ebro Show
Before his statement on The Ebro Show, Pusha T had first elaborated on what prompted the diss against Travis Scott on the So Be It track, explaining to GQ on June 17, 2025:
"The true context of that is we were in Paris, literally working, and he was calling to play P his new album. He came to [Pharrell’s] studio [at Louis Vuitton HQ, where Clipse recorded most of Let God Sort Em Out]. He interrupted a session."
The singer continued:
"He sees me and Malice there. He's like, ‘Oh, man, everybody's here,’ he's smiling, laughing, jumping around, doing his fuc***g monkey dance. We weren't into the music, but he wanted to play it, wanted to film [us and Pharrell listening to it]."
The rapper then elaborated on how they didn't want him there (which he reiterated in The Ebro Show interview) and also how Scott featured Drake's diss on the track Meltdown on his album Utopia, starting off the beef. Pusha T further stated that Scott.
In response to Pusha T's diss, Travis Scott responded with his own message, calling him in an expletive-laden message, as per the HFR Podcast:
