The music video for "Old Phone" by Ed Sheeran feels like a trip down memory lane, featuring real clips of people and personal stories. The "Photograph" singer recently revealed that his latest song, "Old Phone," was written during his visit to India. The song quickly gained attention due to its meaningful lyrics and his reference to his old phone, which contained images and texts.

On April 29, he added a bunch of photos from his previous phone on Instagram with the caption,

"I just turned my phone off December ‘15 and that was it. When I got sued, the judge ordered me to give up my old devices to the other sides lawyers, to look through messages, emails, voice notes, videos, etc, to see if there’s was anything on there to help their case. In the process, I switched on my old phone."

He further added,

"I found myself crying at messages to friends who are now dead, who I won’t get to speak to again. I found old photos of me with people I was so close to then, but we’ve lost touch since. The whole experience was such an emotional journey."

After the music video for the song was released, fans saw clips of Ed Sheeran's The Old Phone Pub, located in Ipswich, Massachusetts. The authentic clips of people and candid videos left fans in awe.
