Superchunk 2025 tour: How to get tickets, dates, venues, and more explored

Indie rock outfit Superchunk are officially back on the road in 2025 with a North American tour.

The Chapel Hill-based band has also announced the release of its 13th studio album, Songs in the Key of Yikes. It is officially set to be released on August 22, 2025, via Merge Records.

In support of the album, the band will hit multiple venues across the U.S. this fall. It will start in Richmond, Virginia, on September 5, 2025, and wrap up in Los Angeles, California, on October 23, 2025.

The tour is Superchunk's return to national touring following their 2022 release, Wild Loneliness, and some lineup changes. Drummer Jon Wurster departed in 2023 after three decades with the group, and Laura King has been officially welcomed as a full-time member of the band.

Superchunk took to their official Instagram page to share the tour announcement. The post included the trek dates and stops. It read:

"BIG NEWS DAY! Touring all over the place this Fall! Lucky to have @jasonnarducy (East Coast) & @betsybooots (West Coast) joining us on bass!"
