Selena Gomez’s recent Instagram post apparently caused a bit of confusion as popular American SZA thought the I Said I Love You First hitmaker had tied the knot with music producer Benny Blanco.
On Sunday, August 10, 2025, Selena Gomez shared a carousel of pictures on her official Instagram and captioned the post:
“About last nights wedding.”
The first slide was a picture of Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco having an intimate moment. This led many fans, including SZA, to believe the engaged couple had tied the knot. The Nobody Gets Me singer wrote in the comments section:

“Last night’s wedding” was actually referring to Lil Dicky’s wedding to Kristin Batalucco, which took place on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Selena and Benny attended the event, looking stunning, with the Who Says singer wearing a red halter-neck dress.

Fans of the popular musicians Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have been highly anticipating the couple’s wedding announcements. Selena and Benny got engaged in December 2024, and since then, fans have been waiting for them to tie the knot officially.
The couple has also spoken about their marriage plans. In the Wednesday, August 6 episode of Therapuss with Jake Shane podcast, Selena talked about her wedding plans, sharing her excitement about marrying the music producer.
“I couldn't be more excited. I'm really, I just have never really felt so sure about something,” she said.
The singer also revealed that they were stuck in so many projects and personal endeavors to plan a wedding, and they will get into preparations when they wrap up their work.
“It's just there's so much kind of happening in the moment. He's working on some projects that he has to wrap up, and we just have things we want to finish— our own personal endeavors before we get into all the nitty-gritty.”
Last month, Selena also revealed the dessert she wants at her wedding. The 33-year-old beauty mogul announced she wouldn't want an extravagant cake at her wedding with Benny Blanco, but a small-sized one for herself and her partner.
“Whenever that day comes, I do know I don't want a big cake. I think I'd want a mini one for just the two of us that we can freeze.”
She added that she would prefer biscuit and gravy as the main dessert at the future event.
“My preferred dessert would be biscuit and gravy. My Nana’s biscuit and gravy that sounds like a dessert to me.”
