Rwandan musician The Ben has announced his European tour covering France, Sweden and the United Kingdom in August 2025.
The tour comes as a platform for the promotion of his album, Plenty Love, launched earlier this year. The artist, whose real name is Benjamin Mugisha, said that the album features ‘almost every artiste’ he has collaborated in his career, per The New Times.
The Ben will embark on his Europe tour starting with Lyon in France on August 9, 2025, at the Markadas Dance Centre. He will then move to Sweden, where he will perform on August 15 and 16. After a two-week break, The Ben will perform in the UK on August 29, 2025.

All you need to know about The Ben’s Europe tour
The Ben is scheduled to start his European tour on August 9, 2025, in Lyon, France, to promote his latest album, Plenty Love. According to an Instagram post shared by Brizz_entertainment, The Ben’s France concert will be hosted by MC Elyssa, while music is by Selekta Copain, DJ Kastro.
The timings for the concert are from 8:00 pm till 5:00 am, and the venue is Markadas Dance Centre at 21 Rue Aristide Briand, Saint-Priest, France.
The cost for a regular ticket is 30.00€, for a VIP-Table of 4 (1 Bottle) it is 220.00€ and for VIP-Table of 6 (2 Bottles) it is 400.00€.
He will be heading to Sweden next, as per InyaRwanda, where he is slated to be a part of the One Love Africa Music Festival. The concert will be held at Frihamnen Arena, in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The festival will host the best artists from the African music industry, including Ya Levis, Rayvanny, Young Jonn, Mr. Pilato, and Timaya. He will reportedly perform at the festival on August 15 and 16. Tickets can be booked through Billeto.
According to InyaRwanda, it is the same stage where The Ben impressed the audience with his performance on November 15, 2019, during the Festival Arena edition of the gala.
The Ben is next scheduled to perform in Finland, where he will headline the Umuganura Harvest Fest. During the festival, which celebrates African culture, he will perform alongside iconic DJs Mozee and Moses, as well as Indahemuka and Anthony Sky.
After his last scheduled stop in the UK on August 29, 2025, The Ben will return to Kigali to start preparations for his second New Year Groove, which he hosts at BK Arena in January every year. It was at the same event that he launched Plenty Love. In a news briefing, according to The New Times, he said:
“This concert is about making Rwandans proud of our music on top of our clean city, and our good leadership that everyone knows about worldwide. We are taking the music scene to another level.”
A report dated December 30, 2024, in The New Times had The Ben saying, about the last edition of the festival:
“Notable artistes such as Tom Close, Riderman, Element, Kevin Kade, and Kivumbi King among others will join me on stage. This concert is special, it feels like a journey that honours our pioneers, like Masamba and Rafiki, while celebrating the next generation of talent.”
His new album features 12 tracks by producers including the UK-based Rwandan producer Madebeats, and Element.
