The Besnard Lakes 2025 North America tour: Dates, venues, and more explored

Montreal's The Besnard Lakes are officially preparing for a busy end to 2025. They had previously announced their upcoming seventh studio album, The Besnard Lakes Are the Ghost Nation, which is slated to be released on October 10, 2025, through Full Time Hobby. Now, the band has also confirmed a month-long tour across Canada and the United States.

The newly announced run is set to stretch from early November into December 2025. Canadian dates have been scheduled up front, and a series of U.S. stops is set to close the year. The Canadian leg features four cities: Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa, and Montreal. Then, The Besnard Lakes will head south for shows in Vermont, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Connecticut, and Vermont.

The Besnard Lakes took to their official Instagram profile to announce the trek and the second single of their upcoming album, The Besnard Lakes Are the Ghost Nation. The post read:

"NA '25 🌸 + 'Give Us Our Dominion', our second single from our forthcoming album The Besnard Lakes are the Ghost Nation, is out now 🌟"

The Besnard Lakes were formed in 2003 by husband-and-wife duo Jace Lasek and Olga Goreas. They have now become a known name within Canada's independent music scene. The group has earned Polaris Prize nominations. Their new album was recorded at Lost River Studios in the Laurentian forest. Its complete tracklist is as follows:
