The Broadway musical adaptation of The Great Gatsby has officially announced its first wave of North American tour dates. It is set to start in Baltimore, MD, in January 2026 and roll through over 20 cities across the U.S. through late summer.The tour brings F. Scott Fitzgerald's century-old novel, The Great Gatsby, to new audiences in a musical form. The musical opened on Broadway in April 2024. It has since earned praise for its production design, choreography, and more. The newly announced North American tour is being produced by Chunsoo Shin, OD Company, and NETworks Presentations, with executive producers Mark Shacket and Trinity Wheeler. Since its 1925 release, Fitzgerald's novel has inspired films, plays, radio shows, and video games. The Broadway production opened in spring 2024 following a sold-out world premiere at New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse, where it became the highest-grossing show in that theater's history.The 2026 touring version features music and lyrics by Jason Howland and Nathan Tysen, a book by Kait Kerrigan, and is directed by Marc Bruni. Choreography is handled by Dominique Kelley. Set design, lighting, and costumes are handled by an award-winning team, including Linda Cho (Tony winner), Paul Tate de Poo III, and Cory Pattak.
