The Growlers 2026 Australian tour: Presale code, dates, venues, and more explored

California-based band The Growlers are officially set to return to Australia as part of their first global run since 2019. The group will kick off their 2026 global tour in Australia. They will perform a few East Coast headline shows throughout January.

On most dates on the trek, Melbourne surf-garage trio The Grogans will join The Growlers as a supporting act. The run is being presented by Love Police, East West, and The Growlers Records. The Australian leg will be the launchpad for their upcoming global itinerary, which later includes stops in the UK, France, Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands.

The Growlers announced the upcoming Australian run via an official Instagram post, which read:

"Australia Tour 2026 with special guest @thegrogansband. Fan Club pre-sale begins Friday, November 7 at 10 AM AEDT, use password CRISIS. Public on sale starts Monday, November 10 at 10 AM AEDT. Love Police, East West & The Growlers Records Presents. Tickets: TheGrowlers.com"

The band was formed in Dana Point, California. The group began as a local surf-rock act created by Brooks Nielsen and Matt Taylor in the mid-2000s. They famously toured in a converted school bus named Lizzie, which was a nod to the freewheeling counterculture of the 1960s Merry Pranksters.

Their early albums include Are You In Or Out? (2009) and Hot Tropics (2010). The Growlers' last full-length release before the hiatus, Natural Affair (2019), was followed by a break as Nielsen explored a solo career to release five solo albums between 2022 and 2025.

The band's fan club presale for the 2026 Australian dates will begin on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 10 a.m. AEDT. Fans need to use the code CRISIS. General public sales are set to open on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 10 a.m. AEDT. Tickets will be available via the official band website.
