Avril Lavigne invited her mother, Judith-Rosanne Loshaw, on stage during the Greatest Hits tour show. The singer uploaded a carousel post on June 4 featuring photos of her with her mother. The caption of the post read,

"I brought my Mom up on stage last night !!!! Ever since I was a little girl, both my mom and dad saw something in me and encouraged me to practice very hard and pursue my dream of becoming a singer/ musician. They made a lot of sacrifices for me and I could not be where I am today without them."

Avril ended the caption by thanking her mother,

"Mom thank you for believing in me. I am grateful to both my parents. Thank you for everything, I love you both! ❤️❤️❤️"

The post came as a happy surprise for the fans who appreciated and admired the singer for openly thanking her parents and bringing her mom on stage.
