After more than a decade apart, all four original members of Third Day, Mac Powell, Mark Lee, David Carr, and Tai Anderson, are officially reuniting in 2026 for a special 30th anniversary tour.
The tour announcement has gained significant interest across the Christian music world. Longtime fans will once again have the chance to see the Grammy-winning band live on stage.
The newly declared anniversary run is set to launch in March 2026. It will celebrate three decades since the release of Third Day's self-titled label debut in 1996. That album helped the Atlanta-based band gain national recognition. The record featured beloved tracks like "Nothing at All" and "Forever."
Third Day is arguably one of the most beloved acts in Contemporary Christian Music (CCM). Over their nearly 30-year career, they have released 14 albums, earned four Grammy Awards, and delivered more than 30 No. 1 singles.
Third Day shared the reunion tour announcement via their official Instagram handle. The post read:
"We are thrilled to announce that for the first time in over a decade, Mac, Mark, David, and Tai are reuniting for a limited time to celebrate the legendary catalog of Third Day music! The 30th Anniversary Tour will make stops across select U.S. cities in 2026 and will feature very special guest Zach Williams. Pre-sale tickets go on sale Monday, June 23rd at 10 am local venue time. Stay tuned for the exclusive pre-sale code! #TD30"
The upcoming tour will span nearly 30 cities across the U.S. Moreover, it will be Third Day's first time performing together in 11 years. Their last tour, a farewell run, was held in 2018. Their final show was at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. In a recent Instagram post, Third Day reflected on that farewell run, stating:
"On March 2, 2018, Third Day announced their farewell tour, which began with 12 shows and eventually expanded to include 20 concerts, culminating in a final performance at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO on June 27, 2018."
The post continued:
"This tour marked a significant milestone, becoming the band's fastest selling tour of all time, with tickets selling out in just 12 minutes. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Third Day released Live From The Farewell Tour, a DVD that features live recordings, interviews, and special highlights from the farewell tour experience."
Third Day's Mac Powell expressed his excitement about the upcoming tour in an official statement, saying:
"I have been getting asked the question for many years, 'when is Third Day going to do a tour again' and I have always said … one day soon, I hope! I am so excited that we finally get the chance to play music together again on stage and give our fans what they have been waiting for."
Mark Lee mentioned:
"Third Day has always been, first and foremost, a live band. The best way to celebrate 30 years is to get back together for a tour. I can't wait to get back out on the road with these guys and put on a big show for our fans."
