''This song comes just before National Indigenous History month & Pride gatherings. It serves a gift to those in our communities that have ever felt misunderstood or left out. We see you, we love you, and we’re taking up our own space now.''

It continues:

''I wrote this when I was 17. Coming back to it as an adult made me realize how all these feelings are still relevant - not only to myself, but for other marginalized people moving through life feeling alone or misunderstood, and I want to make spaces for us to feel seen and heard - Veronica shares.''

Tinge released their debut EP in March 2023, titled Big Deep Sigh. They released it through House of Wonders Records. It consisted of five tracks, including Armed to the Teeth. This is what Veronica had to say on the release of their EP, as per the caption on their Instagram post:

''I have to be honest - almost to a fault. It really comes through in these songs, and I think when people have the courage to be open about what makes them human, it makes it a little easier for other humans to accept those parts of themselves as well.''

Overall, Tinge centers its music around deeply personal songwriting and socially resonant themes. The core themes of the band include empowerment, indigenous identity, mental health, 2SLGBTQ+ communities, urban life, and intergenerational traumas.

The tickets for the different tours can be purchased from the official websites of the festivals they're performing at.

The band uses their authentic storytelling and dedication to representation to create a powerful voice in the Canadian music industry, through which they connect to their audiences worldwide.
