ATEEZ has finally acknowledged the comparisons made by fans who liken them to the Saja Boys, the male idols from Netflix’s K-pop Demon Hunters. In an exclusive interview with People magazine, published on Friday, September 26, the eight-member boy group admitted that they've heard about the comparisons to Saja Boys and understand it in a way.
Yeosang of ATEEZ suggested that it might be because of their recent sultry single, In Your Fantasy, which sounds like the Saja Boys’ hit song “Idol.”
“I’ve seen fans compare [our song] 'In Your Fantasy' to the K-pop Demon Hunters 'Idol' performance, and I think it makes sense in a way. Both have that intensity where it feels like you’re being pulled into another world. For ATEEZ, this music video was about showing a seductive and almost dangerous kind of fantasy, something that feels bigger than reality.”
He added that their live performance carries the same intensity that the Saja Boys brought to the screens.
“What’s similar to the Saja Boys is that when we step on stage, we want fans to feel like they’re escaping into a story, even just for a few minutes. That’s where I can really see a connection.”
Fans of the boy group, known as ATINY, have been trying to match each member, including Yeosang, Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho, to the members of Saja Boys: Jinu, Abby, Mystery, Romance, and Baby.
San, who has garnered the most comparisons to Abby because of their build, admitted that he could see the connection.
“I’ve heard that a lot recently! Honestly, I think it’s because of the intensity in his eyes and the way he carries himself.”
K-pop Demon Hunters recently became Netflix’s most-watched movie of all time.

In Your Fantasy is the lead single of ATEEZ’s twelfth EP Golden Hour: Part.3. It was released on July 11, 2025, and became their second song to enter the Billboard Hot 100.
In Your Fantasy was released in four variations: single, Yaeji, speed up, and speed down. It also topped the US World Digital Song Sales chart.
The song’s lyrics are an invitation to indulge in a passionate experience of desire and forbidden pleasure, just like Saja Boys’ “Idol.” The chorus reads:
