Australian rock act The Angels are officially hitting the road once again with their newly announced 2025 Echoes of Thunder tour. The trek has been set to kick off in October 2025. It will continue through December.

The national trek will take the band across 17 cities around the country. The group will be playing two full sets of their hits, without any support acts. The tour announcement comes following a few relatively busy years, which included their 50th anniversary in 2024, the release of a new studio album, Ninety Nine, and their ongoing Go For Broke tour.

Notably, The Angels now have a refreshed lineup led by founding members John and Rick Brewster and new frontman Nick Norton.

The current lineup of The Angels includes:

  • John Brewster – Rhythm Guitar
  • Rick Brewster – Lead Guitar
  • Sam Brewster – Bass
  • Tom Brewster – Drums
  • Nick Norton – Lead Vocals

The band is mainly known for beloved rock tracks like Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again, No Secrets, and Take A Long Line. They will wrap up the tour with a special hometown show at The Gov in Adelaide on December 19, 2025.

The Angels were formed in Adelaide in 1974. The band was originally fronted by the late Doc Neeson. Over the years, the group has gone through multiple lineup changes, with John and Rick Brewster remaining constant ones.

In 2011, after Neeson's departure, the band continued with Dave Gleeson of The Screaming Jets until his exit in 2023. The band is now led by Nick Norton, who first joined the group as a drummer and later stepped into lead vocals. Their 2024 album, Ninety Nine, was Norton's first as frontman. The release was followed by the previously announced Go For Broke tour.

Founding guitarist John Brewster shared in a statement,

"What we love about playing two sets is it allows us to dig deep into the catalogue and play those songs that were hits for the true fans."
