Rod Stewart is currently recovering from a flu. The singer first announced that he was suffering from an illness when he canceled his June 1, 2025, performance at the Colosseum in Las Vegas hours before it was supposed to start, stating in an Instagram story no longer available that he was feeling ill.

The show was postponed to June 10, 2025. Now, however, the singer has announced the cancellations and rescheduling of six more shows so that he can recover from illness, stating:

"I have to cancel and reschedule my next six concerts in June as I continue to recover from the flu. So sorry my friends. I’m devastated and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to my fans. I’ll be back on stage and will see you soon."

The singer has canceled his remaining shows at the Colosseum in Las Vegas as well as his show at the Lake Tahoe Amphitheater in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, the shows in Rancho Mirage, California, and Paso Robles, California, have been rescheduled to September 20, 2025, and September 21, 2025, respectively.

While the singer did not mention any details regarding refunds, refunds for canceled shows are generally provided automatically by ticket vendors such as Ticketmaster to the original account that was used to purchase tickets. Ticketmaster generally processes refunds within 14 to 21 days from the date of cancellation, as per Ticketmaster's note on the canceled shows of the singer.

Rod Stewart has not yet canceled his performance at the Glastonbury festival, which is scheduled to take place at the Pyramid Stage of the festival on June 29, 2025. The singer will be joined by Ronnie Wood of Rolling Stones fame during the performance, should he choose to go ahead with the performance.

Rod Stewart may stop from large scale world tours

Rod Stewart previously announced he was considering not doing large-scale world tours anymore in favor of smaller tours in an Instagram page post on November 21, 2024:

"This will be the end of large scale world tours for me but I have no desire to retire. I love what I do and I do what I love. I'm fit, have a head full of hairs, and can run 100 meters in 18 seconds at the jolly old age of 79. I'd like to move onto a Great American Songbook tour the year after next - smaller venues and more intimacy. But then again, I may not."

Rod Stewart embarked on his 'One Last Time' tour back in March 2027. The singer is next scheduled to perform across North America from July 8, 2025, to August 15, 2025. These concerts are currently scheduled to go ahead as planned.
