Their new album, From Zero, is getting recognition with a recent nomination for Best Rock Album at the Grammys.

Talking about the experience, the lead singer, Emily Armstrong, who joined the band recently, said in an interview with Alternative Press:

"All of it was new for me. You can't really speed up the process. You just have to go through it. You have to play the shows, and we've gotten to that point now where we're able to throw in new songs and not have it be a complete whirlwind of just being like, ‘Oh, my God, could we just have one set where it's the same so I could just feel normal?’ But we got to that point, which is great."

Linkin Park also introduced a new drummer, Colin Brittain, last year, who was replaced by Rob Bourdon. Talking about Rob's exit, Mike Shinoda told Billboard:

"He was starting to just show up less, be in less contact, and I know the fans noticed it too. The Hybrid Theory rerelease and Papercuts release, he didn’t show up for anything. So for me, as a friend, that was sad, but at the same time, I want him to do whatever makes him happy, and obviously everybody wishes him the best."
