Among Glastonbury 2025's most talked-about artists was Charli XCX, who headlined the Other Stage on Saturday night. The British singer delivered a high-energy set that showcased the full scope of her recent album, Brat. She also revisited her early tracks.

A few years ago, Charli XCX expressed frustration with the direction of her music and the constraints of the mainstream pop industry. Her 2022 album Crash was commercially successful. However, some reports have suggested that it left her feeling disconnected.

In contrast, Brat, released in 2024, has been both a critical and fan-favorite record. The album earned her eight Grammy nominations and three wins, including Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Recording Package. Her tour in support of Brat has seen sold-out shows across continents.

Charli's Glastonbury appearance was slotted against rock legend Neil Young and rapper Doechii. Charli drew one of the weekend's biggest crowds, and The Other Stage was packed with more than 60,000 fans. Organizers reportedly increased capacity at the stage this year.

Charli XCX took the stage at 10:30 pm. She opened with a combination of 360 and Von Dutch, two hit tracks from Brat. From there, she moved through a 20-song set, which was mainly heavy on Brat tracks. However, it also incorporated fan-favorites and older cuts.

Remixes included a Shygirl-assisted version of 365 and a reworked Girl, So Confusing that sampled her Lorde remix. It is worth noting that Lorde herself, despite the online rumors, did not make an appearance. A similar absence came during Guess, which was played using elements from the Billie Eilish remix. Billie was not present.

Charli XCX's complete setlist at Glastonbury 2025 is as follows:

  • 365 (Shygirl Remix)
  • 360
  • Von Dutch
  • I Might Say Something Stupid (The 1975 & Jon Hopkins Remix)
  • Club Classics
  • Unlock It (Extended Intro & Outro)
  • Apple (with Gracie Abrams as "Apple Girl")
  • Girl, So Confusing (Lorde Remix Version)
  • Everything is Romantic (Extended Intro)
  • Speed Drive (Repeated EASYFUN Remix)
  • Sympathy is a Knife
  • Guess (Billie Eilish Remix Version)
  • 365 (reprise)
  • Party 4 U (Extended Intro)
  • Vroom Vroom
  • Track 10
  • I Love It (Icona Pop cover)
  • DREAD (with elements of I Love It)

For the now-viral Apple segment, Charli XCX maintains a tradition of inviting a guest performer to act out the TikTok-famous dance. At Glastonbury 2025, the role went to singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams, who danced on-screen in a baby-pink cardigan while Charli shouted her out mid-song:

"I love you so much, Gracie."

Notably, Charli XCX spent the entire set solo on stage. She wore black leather and sunglasses. She carried a pint of white wine for much of the performance. During a brief pause between her songs, she addressed the crowd, saying:

"I am known to have a heart of stone, but this moment means so much to me. Thank you, Glastonbury."

Her stage setup was relatively minimal. There was a rotating series of white lights and LED backdrops. It was arguably in contrast to the more theatrical productions seen on the Pyramid Stage this year.
