The Oasis reunion tour has officially kicked off in North America. Toronto's Rogers Stadium became the first stop for the band on this side of the Atlantic. It was their first North American performance since 2008.

The crowd count was reportedly more than 50,000. They went through a sudden rainstorm to watch brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher walk on stage together for the first time in nearly two decades. The Oasis Live '25 Tour was announced in August 2024. It was announced to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the group's debut album, Definitely Maybe. The setlist mainly leans on the band's mid-1990s catalog.

In Toronto, Oasis were joined by Cage the Elephant. They will be supporting all North American dates. The show was the first of two nights at Rogers Stadium. Oasis played multiple classics such as "Wonderwall," "Don't Look Back in Anger," and "Champagne Supernova."

Oasis opened the Toronto show with "Hello," a track from their second album, Morning Glory. The setlist featured a mix of singles, deep cuts, and fan favorites. Songs from Definitely Maybe and (What's the Story) Morning Glory? mainly dominated the night.

The performance lasted over two hours. Notably, during "Stand by Me," a heavy rainfall began. Noel Gallagher joked about the slippery stage, remarking:

"All this money we are making and we can't afford a bit of carpet."

Liam Gallagher told the audience:

"It's only a bit of rain, man. We are from Manchester."

The Oasis brothers also led the audience in "The Poznan." It is a chant and movement they borrowed from their beloved Manchester City football club. It involves fans joining hands, turning their backs to the stage, and jumping in unison.
