More details on Yves and PinkPantheress' collaboration
Yves and PinkPantheress have worked together on two projects. The first is Soap, a song from the idol’s third EP, and the second is Stars + Yves, a remake of Pink’s popular Stars.
Soap was released on August 7, 2025. The song's lyrics talk about living an independent life and building self-awareness. The chorus reads:
“I don't hear you shout, who's gonna need it?/ I don't need a prob, but you've been wanting/ Crying won't scare me now, I discipline, you keep it/ Can't seem to find out, woke up in my freedom/ I don't hear you shout, who's gonna need it?/ I don't need a prob, but you've been wanting/ Crying won't scare me now, I discipline, you keep it/ Can't seem to find out, wokе up in my freedom.”
Speaking about her collaboration with Pink, Yves shared that she believed that the universe brought them together.
“Maybe it was the energy of the universe that brought us together. When I was working on LOOP, I was really influenced by PinkPantheress and often thought, ‘How amazing would it be to work with her someday?’”
She added:
“I think the way both her fans and mine continued to show love and hope for it really helped the collaboration come to life. Thankfully, PinkPantheress liked the track, and everything came together so naturally. It still feels a bit like a dream.”
