In celebration of the 20th anniversary of their album Menos El Oso, Minus the Bear is officially returning to the stage this fall with a U.S. tour. The band has now announced the supporting acts for their headline shows.

The band will perform the beloved 2005 album in its entirety across more than 30 shows. The tour is set to kick off on October 4, 2025, in Portland, Oregon, and wrap up with a trio of hometown shows in Seattle over Thanksgiving weekend.

A relatively wide range of supporting acts will be joining them during the tour. From Speedy Ortiz and The Messthetics to Holy Wave and Into It. Over It., the tour will feature a diverse lineup of opening acts.

Minus the Bear took to their official Instagram handle to announce the opening acts for their 2025 tour, captioning:

"We are so excited to have our friends — new and old — joining us as openers across the U.S. These shows are going to be special. Limited tickets remain at minusthebear.com. See you in a few months!"

Minus the Bear has also announced a Menos El Oso deluxe edition reissue, which is officially slated to be released on August 22, 2025, via Suicide Squeeze Records. The reissue will include remastered audio and previously unreleased material from the original recording sessions.

Menos El Oso was released in 2005. It was Minus the Bear's second studio album and a significant work for the Seattle-based group. The project is loved by fans for tracks like "Pachuca Sunrise" and "The Game Needed Me."
