Marieangela King Allman is a British singer and wife of Cher's son Elijah Blue Allman. The couple got married in 2013, but Marieangela filed for divorce in 2025 after a 13-year relationship.
On June 14, TMZ reported that Elijah Blue was taken to a hospital in California after a drug overdose. As per sources, the 48-year-old is still in the hospital and is currently recovering.
In an exclusive People magazine report, Marieangela stood by Elijah through her statement,
"While it is true that Elijah has faced personal challenges in the past, one constant has been his unwavering commitment to sobriety and his loyalty to those he loves. Like many, he continues to confront his inner struggles — but it is important to recognize that he does so from a place of strength, not defeat."
She went on to praise Elijah by saying,
"Despite the assumptions that often color how his journey is portrayed, the reality is that Elijah remains grounded, focused and deeply committed to living with integrity and purpose. I want to state, without hesitation, that I will always root for him."
Marieangela King Allman ended her statement by saying that she truly respects Elijah and admires how strong he has been while dealing with all that has happened.
Marieangela King Allman started the band King in 1997
Marieangela, also known as Queenie King, was born to a British father, Michael Jaffray King, and a German mother, Irmgard King.
She and her four siblings — Trillion, Jazzy, Lucius, and Ruby — started the band King in 1997. The band stayed together for 16 years until 2013, when Jazzy and Ruby decided to leave the group and form their own pop duo called Blonde Electra.
The band is currently run by four members, which also includes their younger sibling Jemima, who joined King to keep the band going. Later, Queenie married Cher's son, Elijah Blue, in 2013.

Marieangela King Allman breaks silence after divorce filing from Elijah Blue
In April, Queenie King filed for divorce after 13 years of relationship with Elijah Blue Allman.
Speaking to People magazine, Marieangela King Allman said,
"We had a beautiful 13-year journey, filled with memories I’ll always cherish. I know we’ll remain friends, and Elijah will always hold a special place in my heart."
According to People, court documents show that King is asking Elijah to cover all her legal charges during the divorce and wants the couple's 2017 Toyota Prius. In addition, she has requested $6,000 per month in temporary support.
Elijah also started divorce proceedings in 2021, though he asked the court to cancel them in January 2024, and they were officially dismissed a month later.
