Daniel Seavey has postponed his Australia and New Zealand tour dates due to an ongoing issue with his vocal cords.
Earlier, he had to postpone his dates in Europe and the UK, and now his fans in Australia and New Zealand will have to wait. He took to his social media to apologize to his fans for his absence. Seavey wrote:
“Hey guys I got some pretty tough news yesterday. My doctor has ordered me to go on another 3 weeks of vocal rest to ensure that this problem completely resolves and never returns, which means I have to push back my shows in Australia a couple weeks.”

He added:
“I am so beyond devastated by the outcome of all of this and am so terribly sorry to everyone I am letting down. Europe, we are so close to having those new dates for you. My team and I are working as fast as we can to get those to you. I miss you all so much and can't wait to see you again soon.”

Daniel Seavey is currently on a break as he his unable to perform because of a severe vocal cord injury. His doctors have declared his vocal cords "completely unusable" and warned that attempting to perform could cause permanent and irreversible damage.
As a result, he has been advised to undergo complete rest until he recovers. He broke the news to his fans on May 13, 2025. Taking to his social media account, he wrote:
“…after consulting multiple doctors, I have no choice but to postpone the rest of my shows in Europe. Even though this is the absolute last thing I’d ever want to do, it is physically impossible for me to perform right now.”
He continued:
“My doctors made it clear that my vocal chords are completely unusable right now, and that any attempt at forcing them to work will result in permanent and irreversible damage. There is no possible way for me to perform my show. I am so absolutely devastated to have ended up in this situation and am so so so sorry to every single one of you I am letting down.”
He wrote that his heart is truly broken and that he has been working with his team to reschedule the dates.
According to a report in The Music, the rescheduled tour will now begin in Auckland at Powerstation on August 2, 2025, followed by Melbourne’s Forum on August 5, 2025, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on August 6, 2025, Brisbane's Eatons Hill Hotel on August 8, 2025, Adelaide’s AEC Theatre on August 10, 2025 and will conclude in Perth at Rechabite on August 12, 2025.
