We'll issue a refund to the original method of payment used at time of purchase, as soon as funds are received from the Event Organizer. It should appear on your account within 14-21 days. Please Note: If the tickets were transferred to you, the refund will go to the fan who originally purchased the tickets from Ticketmaster."

However, details remain vague. This cited issue can typically refer to problems like setting up the staging, lighting, or audio equipment in time for The Weeknd's July 4 event.

This cancellation comes amid The Weeknd's North American stadium run, which has been ongoing since May 2025, following an international leg earlier this year. The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, is currently on the road to promote his sixth studio album, Hurry Up Tomorrow. It was released in January 2025.

The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and features collaborations with artists like Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, Lana Del Rey, and Future.

Notably, despite the July 4 cancellation, The Weeknd's show scheduled for Friday, July 5, at the same venue will proceed as planned.
