Yaelokre teases world tour: All you need to know 

Yaelokre has teased a world tour that will feature shows across the US, the UK, Europe, and elsewhere. The singer posted the teaser on May 26, 2025, on their official Instagram page, stating in the announcement:

"Hellow, this is Yaelokre and I'm going on tour. I hope to meet many a Wonderfolk during my travels as I perform on stages found all across Europe, the UK and the US and... much of the rest. More of the specifics will be spoken about tomorrow. Tuesday at 3pm UK time."

The tour will be Yaelokre's first headlining world tour, and as mentioned above, dates and other details for the tour will be announced on May 27, 2025, at 03:00 p.m. UK Time (likely BST or GMT).

Yaelokre released their debut EP back in 2024

Yaeklore released their debut EP, Hayfields, on March 02, 2024. The EP was followed by their second self-released EP, Songs of Origin, on September 26, 2024. The two EPs have done well online on YouTube, with songs from the album garnering hundreds of thousands and sometimes millions of views.

Yaeklore is the storytelling project of Icelandic and Filipino-origin singer Keath Ósk. Ósk has previously stated they will never reveal their age (aka the year they were born), but they were born on September 4. Ósk uses they/it pronouns.

Yaelokre talked about their music in an exclusive interview with Rappler on February 2, 2025:

"How can you prepare to face a whole world where kindness is scarce and hate is normalized, when all you’ve ever really wanted to [was] to tell your stories to little children and make them happy? The project has been very special to me, and the four characters are based off of my childhood. [Creating Yaelokre] was like a [form] of therapy for me."

The singer continued:

"It was like, ‘oh I need to tackle this one [personal] issue.’ But then, it was so overwhelming [to handle all at once]. So what I did was to split them into four, and then those stories became characters — I gave them names, voices, visuals. And then, I just fell in love with them."

The singer later talked about their upbringing and how it influenced their music project:

"I’ve had art and music all throughout my life…the imagination came from [my father], and the skills [with music] came from my mother. But putting all of that into visual work was just me being interested in putting it onto paper and I want people to understand how I see things, how I understand things."

The singer added:

"It’s a diary turned into a storybook. I’ve had it since I was very little, and as we grow up, it changes, as we do. I’ve had art and music all throughout my life... It’s many, many things. Of course, it started out with my parents. Then, came my friends. Then, other people in my life. I’ve just reshaped it to be a lot more inspiring."

Yaelokre's live performances feature the singer performing in animal-themed masks and outfits. The project is centered around Meadowlark, featuring the characters of Cole, Clémente/Clementine, Peregrine/Perrine, Kingsley, as well as The Playwright. The singer has previously opened for Aurora during her tour performance at the New Frontier Theater in Manila, Philippines.
