Kendrick Lamar's Grand National Tour with SZA finally arrived in Canada after much anticipation from fans. The Luther hitmaker put on an incredible show during two performances in Toronto. He and SZA took over the city's Rogers Centre on June 12 and June 13, 2025. To the delight of those in attendance, Kendrick Lamar performed his successful and highly acclaimed diss track, Not Like Us.
The performance was electrifying, with several fans belting the lyrics together with the rapper and vocally demanding an encore after the performance.
Although Drake did not publicly comment on Kendrick Lamar's bold performance in his home country, the Nokia hitmaker recently expressed his displeasure with someone who attended last week's show. Former Canadian politician Jagmeet Singh was spotted at Kendrick's concert in Toronto. After remaining silent for a few days, Drake confronted Singh and called him a "goof."
The Canadian rapper shared a screenshot of his chat with the former Canadian politician. In the post, the rapper slides into Singh's DM and sends a short message:
“You’re a goof.”
The screenshot did not capture Singh's reply, nor has the politician publicly addressed the issue.
