Terri Colombino headed to Llanview

Another piece of Oakdale history will soon be found in Llanview, Pennsylvania. Terri Colombino has been cast as "Aubrey," a newly created character that is set to debut in November. Colombino appeared on As the World Turns for 12 years, earning an Emmy nomination in 2001.

Former As the World Turns star Terri Colombino (ex-Katie Peretti) is headed to One Life to Live. The Emmy-nominated soap vet will play the newly created role of "Aubrey."

The ABC soap is remaining tightlipped about exactly how Aubrey will fit into the canvas -- and the character's last name is also still a mystery. However, a casting breakdown released last month offers a little bit of an insight into the character. Aubrey is described as a woman in her mid-20s to mid-30s. Her "proper breeding masks ger free-spirited nature."

Then known as Terri Conn, Colombino joined the cast of As the World Turns in August 1998. In 2001, the actress earned a Daytime Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Younger Actress category. That same year, the actress married Arthur Colombino.

As CBS's As the World Turns drew to a close, it was widely rumored that Colombino would be heading west to another CBS soap -- The Young and the Restless.

Colombino will make her One Life to Live debut in late November. The unspecified date has some wondering if Aubrey's return will in some way be related to the return of Joey Buchanan.
