Four One Life to Live characters may be headed to General Hospital, but actress Kassie DePaiva is urging fans to temper their enthusiasm. DePaiva, who has played Blair Cramer since December 1993, worries that ABC's promotion of the crossover might be "misleading."

One Life to Live fans were thrilled last week when they learned that several of their favorite characters had found life beyond the show's final episode on ABC. Now, Kassie DePaiva (Blair Cramer) has taken to the Internet to clarify some of the details of the crossover she and her One Life to Live alter ego will be making on General Hospital.

"I must say that ads and press release by ABC [are] a little misleading and I feel I need to clarify to all my friends, family, and fans that are emailing and calling wondering when I'm moving to Los Angeles," DePaiva wrote in a post on her official web site. "Frank Valentini, GH's EP [and former executive producer of One Life to Live], asked me to come out for a couple of shows in February and I'm thrilled. Not only will I get to work with a fantastic cast, but a little piece of OLTL will live on. That makes me very happy. And who knows where it will lead. Once the Mannings come to town anything is possible."

DePaiva will be joined at General Hospital by Emmy winner Roger Howarth (Todd Manning), Kristen Alderson (Starr Manning), and Michael Easton (John McBain). All four performers will be playing their One Life to Live roles on GH.

The specter of cancellation has been hanging over General Hospital ever since ABC announced in June that it had given GH's timeslot to a new talk show hosted by Katie Couric.

"I wish everyone at GH the best," DePaiva added. "No one loves daytime more than Frank Valentini and [head writer] Ron Carlivati and no one works harder than those two men. GH is in good hand and hopefully ABC will let GH live on!"
