Writers' photo shows potential OLTL characters, stories

Soap fans are busy looking for clues in a photo posted on one of One Life to Live's new head writers' Facebook pages. The photo shows a storyboard with a listing of character names, sets, and possibly story previews.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but in one photo making the rounds on the Internet, fans are only concerned with about 50 of those words.

In a Facebook post, a makeshift bulletin board behind recently appointed head writers Susan Bedsow Horgan and Thom Racina shows a piece of paper with names and sets that will apparently be part of One Life to Live's reboot.

17 characters are listed on the paper. Of those names, there is one new name that has fans talking. Jeffrey King is listed as a "Black + British" character in his 20s. The remainder of the names -- Dorian, David, Clint, Natalie and John, Dani, Matthew, Jack, Bo, Nora, Téa, Blair, Rama, Cutter, and Destiny -- are all characters familiar to OLTL viewers.

Of the characters listed, however, only two stars -- Jerry verDorn (Clint Buchanan) and Robin Strasser (Dorian Lord) -- have spoken publicly about returning to their One Life to Live roles. Two more -- Erika Slezak (Viki Banks) and Robert S. Woods (Bo Buchanan) -- are rumored to have agreed to a reprisal.

As previously reported by Soap Central, Prospect Park has issued a casting call for the roles of Matthew Buchanan and Destiny Evans. The two characters, who were still in high school when One Life to Live ended in 2012, are listed as "20s" on the storyboard. A leaked audition breakdown for the two roles shows that Matthew and Destiny have drifted apart, with Destiny apparently having resorted to so-called "sugar daddies" to help her make financial ends meet.

Also visible in the photograph are the names of sets -- the Lord library, Dorian's, a Starbucks-like coffee shop, Capricorn, Buchanan Enterprises, and several hotel rooms.

Meanwhile, fans are still cheering news of when One Life to Live will return. For more on that part of the story, click here.
