Emmy-nominated Andrea Evans continues her work to raise awareness of and funds for breast cancer research. She will again serve as ambassador for a breast cancer survivor's walk and she has created a special soap that will raise money for breast cancer charities. The actress returned to One Life to Live earlier this year, ending a 17-year absence.
Andrea Evans (Tina Lord, One Life to Live) will make an in-store appearance to promote the launch of LATHER's newest skin care product, Sandalwood Rosa soap and the Soap for Hope gift set. All proceeds from the sale of both items will benefit City of Hope, a leading biomedical research and treatment institution for cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Fans can meet Andrea from 2:00pm tp 4:00pm on Saturday, September 27th at the LATHER store on 17 East Colorado Blvd. in Old Town Pasadena, CA. The shopping event itself takes place from 11:00am to 9:00pm.
If you purchase a Soap for Hope Gift Set ($20), you will receive a free lip balm ($6 value) -- and $5 from the sale of each Sandalwood Rose Soap ($8) and $12 from the sale of each Soap for Hope Gift Set ($20) will be donated to City of Hope's distinguished breast cancer research program, which explores less-invasive surgical options, highly focused therapies, and customized treatments that may be more effective while causing fewer side effects.
