One Life to Live star Catherine Hickland (Lindsay Rappaport) is about the take to the stage in a way that soap fans may never have seen her before. Certified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Catherine started her practice in 2008. She is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, and lovingly assists people of all ages to overcome fears, phobias, heartbreak, and other habits which hold them back from their highest potential.
Though Catherine headlines the show, it's the audience members -- including many of our fellow Soap Central readers -- who are the stars.
"I promise a lot of laughs and fun, and, afterwards in the theatre bar, join me for a meet and greet," Hickland says. "In case you've never met me, I happen to be a great hugger, and, between laughing like hyenas and hugging, I don't know a better way to spend an evening.
In addition to the opportunity to get a really good hug, there is another very positive aspect to the show. Proceeds from the ticket sales of the comedy stage show will go to the Hamad family through a campaign called Home Sweet Home. The Hamad family lost their son a few years ago, have six wonderful children, and two of them have extremely special needs. They lost their modest home in a fire at Christmas and have struggled ever since to get situated in a home that meets their needs and the reality of two sons who live their lives in wheelchairs.
