Chicago to Celebrate Llanview

Chicago to Celebrate Llanview

Past and present One Life to Live stars will mix and mingle with fans at a special OLTL finale viewing party in Chicago. The event is a follow-up to the successful fundraiser held for All My Children.

Following the overwhelming success of the "Celebrate Pine Valley" in September, soap opera socialite Jason Spitzer is gearing up to do it again -- for One Life to Live. "Celebrate Llanview" will welcome past and present actors from One Life to Live to Chicago to watch the ABC finale with fans of the show.

"The event was a huge hit with the fans and the actors," says Jason of the All My Children event held just two months ago. "We raised over $5,000 for Season of Concern and I would love to raise even more in January."

Season of Concern is the Chicagoland theatre community's fundraising effort, providing compassionate care to those in our community who are experiencing the effects of HIV/AIDS and by contributing to programs that provide direct care (personal financial support, housing care, meals, medications, legal assistance, and other services) to members of the Chicago and Midwestern theatre community.

"I hold a special place for Season of Concern in my life and believe in what they do so to be able to this again for them and the dedicated soap fans, I think we'll have even more success in January," Spitzer added.

The event will be held at Sidetrack Video Bar in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago on January 13.

Tickets will be available for purchase online at www.seasonofconcern.org beginning mid-December. General Admission will be $25 and a limited number of VIP tickets will be $120.

Scheduled to appear are Ilene Kristen (Roxy Balsom), Tonja Walker Davidson (Alex Olanov), Matt Walton (Eli Clarke), Mark Dobies (Daniel Colson), David Gregory (Robert Ford), Nic Robuck (James Ford), Lenny Platt (Nate Salinger), and Don Jeffcoat (Joey Buchanan).
