One Life to Life's Josh Kelly has booked a role in a Lifetime drama series. Kelly first appeared on One Life to Live in December 2010.
Josh Kelly (Cutter Wentworth) may be temporarily without work on One Life to Live, but that doesn't mean that the actor won't be busy.
Deadline.com reports that Kelly has landed a role in the Lifetime pilot Unreal, a drama that follows the life of a producer as she manipulates contestants of a dating show to create more drama. Kelly will play Jeremy, a cameraman for the show and the ex-boyfriend of series star Shiri Appleby (Rachel).
Lifetime is reportedly looking for a series to fill the hole in its lineup left by the canceling of Army Wives this summer.
Kelly was originally hired for the role of Joey Buchanan, but a switcheroo resulted in him joining the soap as Cutter Wentworth in December 2010. He remained with the series through the end of 2011. He rejoined the series for its online relaunch in April 2013, and last appeared on the August 26 season finale.
One Life to Live is currently on an indefinite hiatus pending the outcome of litigation between Prospect Park and ABC.
