For the tenth time, daytime favorites Jerry verDorn and Liz Keifer are teaming up to present the Daytime Stars and Strikes bowling fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society -- and you can be there for food, fun, and friends -- and it's all for a good cause.

If you enjoy bowling, meeting soap stars, and helping to raise money for a great cause, consider joining the tenth annual "Daytime Stars and Strikes" event on October 13, 2013, in New York City. This event, cochaired by One Life to Live's Jerry verDorn (Clint Buchanan), and Liz Keifer (best known for her role as Blake Marler on Guiding Light), benefits the American Cancer Society.

The event features not only bowling but also food, soda, raffles, and auctions of memorabilia -- and plenty of autographs and photo opportunities. This great afternoon will be held at the Bowlmor Lanes on Times Square from 2PM to 5PM.

If you're worried that you aren't the world's best bowler, fear not! In addition to being able to purchase tickets to bowl with the stars during the event, you can also purchase a spectator ticket.

If you cannot attend, you can also sponsor a lane. This year, Soap Central has sponsored two lanes.

The following stars are tentatively scheduled to appear at this year's event:
Grant Aleksander (Phillip Spaulding, Guiding Light), Nick Choksi (Vimal Patel, OLTL), Thom Christopher (Carlo Hesser, OLTL), Jay Hammer (Fletcher Reade, OLTL), Josh Kelly (Cutter Wentworth, OLTL), Ilene Kristen (Roxy Balsom, OLTL), Robert Newman (Josh Lewis, GL), Michael O'Leary (Rick Bauer, GL), Denise Pence (Katie Parker , GL), Elvera Roussel (Hope Bauer, GL), Stephanie Schmal (Bree Brennan, OLTL), Saoirse Scott (Jamie Vega, OLTL), Tonja Walker (Alex Olanov, OLTL; Marie Green, GL; Olivia Jerome, GH), and Austin Williams (Shane Morasco, OLTL). The list will probably be updated as the event gets closer.
