SNEAK PEEK: OLTL alum Renée Elise Goldsberry as Quellcrist Falconer in Netflix's Altered Carbon

One Life to Live alum Renée Elise Goldsberry (ex-Evangeline Williamson) gives a sneak peek of her Altered Carbon character, Quellcrist Falconer. Plus, check out the trailer for the Netflix sci-fi series.

Hold onto your hats, One Life to Live fans, because Renée Elise Goldsberry (ex-Evangeline Williamson) looks like she's ready to slay as her new Altered Carbon character, Quellcrist Falconer.

The actress took to social media to share a GIF of her Netflix series character, complete with a kick-butt facial expression and a mean-looking gun.

As Soap Central previously reported, Goldsberry bowed out of her role in Broadway's hit play Hamilton to take part in Altered Carbon, a Laeta Kalogridis sci-fi series that explores what happens when the human mind is able to become digitized and the soul is transferable from one body to another.

The series, which is based on the science fiction novel of the same name by Richard K. Morgan, stars Joel Kinnaman as Takeshi Kovacs, an ex-elite interstellar warrior known as an Envoy who has been imprisoned for 500 years and is downloaded into a future he had tried to stop. Goldberry's Falconer is "a revolutionary and leader of the rebellion against the Protectorate. She is a master strategist, as well as the love of Kovacs' life."

Altered Carbon is set to debut on Friday, February 2, 2018. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think about what looks to be a very expensive Netflix undertaking.

What do you think about the premise and the trailer for Altered Carbon? Do you think Goldsberry made the right choice to leave Hamilton for the role of Quellcrist Falconer?
