Kevin Conway, an actor whose early roles included Earl Brock on One Life to Live and Gordon Dobbs on The Doctors, passed away last week after having a heart attack. He was 77.

Born in New York in 1942, Conway began his acting career on stage, starring in shows like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest; The Elephant Man; When You Comin' Back, Red Ryder?; and Other People's Money.

His first television credit is playing the role of Gordon Dobbs on the classic soap opera The Doctors in 1970, which he followed up with a short stint as Earl Brock on the ABC soap One Life to Live in 1973. As OLTL fans might remember, Earl was a criminal who killed Victoria's sister Meredith (Lynn Benesch) during a botched robbery at Llanfair.
