Holiday joy is coming early for fans of Erika Slezak (ex-Victoria Lord, One Life to Live), who shares that she is filming "a nice" part in the upcoming Hallmark film Next Stop Christmas.

Hallmark has pretty much taken the place of Santa Claus [EDITOR'S NOTE: We still love you, Santa, and thank you in advance for the gifts you will be bringing in four months] for soap opera fans, giving viewers countless Christmas films starring many of the genre's most popular actors and actresses. But this year, the network is giving daytime fans the holy grail of holiday moments: a Christmas film starring One Life to Live alum Erika Slezak (ex-Victoria Lord)!

The six-time Daytime Emmy-winning actress announced the exciting news on her official website, sharing that she'll be shooting the feel-good movie, called Next Stop Christmas, in her current home state of Connecticut.

"It's not a big part, but a nice one and we'll be shooting in Essex," she reports.

Hallmark has yet to release further information about the film, but Soap Central will keep you updated when the network and/or Slezak share details about the plot and airdate.

Erika Slezak originated the role of OLTL's Victoria Lord in 1971 and played the character until the soap opera went off the air in 2013. She won six Daytime Emmy Awards for her work as the Llanview matriarch and shares the record for most wins by an actress with The Bold and the Beautiful's Heather Tom (Katie Logan; ex-Kelly Kramer, OLTL), who has also won six Daytime Emmy Awards in performing categories.

Since OLTL's cancellation, Slezak has made a 2019 appearance on Blue Bloods and a 2018 appearance on The Resident. She also appeared in Jeff Daniels' independent film, Guest Artist, which was released in 2020.
