Catherine Hickland joined the cast of One Life to Live in May 1998 as the charmingly manipulative Lindsay Rappaport.

Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Ms. Hickland is well known to television audiences. Her first professional job garnered her nationwide attention as a stewardess in an airline Fly Me advertising campaign. Since then she has starred as Tess Wilder on Loving and The City, enjoyed the dual role of Julie Clegg and Jenny Diamond on Capitol, and played Dr. Courtney Marshall on Texas.

Hickland has also guest-starred on numerous prime-time series, such as Knight Rider, Eight is Enough, Airwolf and Vega$; and such television movies as The Seeding of Sara Burns and To Race the Wind. Feature film credits include The Last Married Couple in America (her first movie, in which she played George Segal's young squeeze), Witch Craft, War Zone Zero, Taxi Killer, and Sweet Justice, in which she shows off her karate skills.

Shortly after the cancellation of Capitol, Catherine moved to Rome, immersing herself in a new language and a new culture. She lived there for two years, during which time she made several Italian films.

In 1995, Catherine starred as Fantine in Les Miserables on Broadway. She performed with the symphony of Lyon on New Year's Eve, 1995, in Lyon, France. Catherine also staged two sold-out performances of her cabaret, Boys on the Side.

In 2006, Catherine began studying hypnosis and is now certified as a clinical hypnotherapist. She is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, and lovingly assists people of all ages to overcome fears, phobias, heartbreak, and other habits that hold them back from their highest potential.

Catherine is also an author. Her first book is The 30 Day Heartbreak Cure: A Guide to Getting Over Him & Back Out There One Month From Today.
