Tabitha's book hits bookstore shelves

On January 23rd, Tabitha Lenox becomes the newest published author. No, that's not a typo. Harmony's resident witch will have a shot at being on the best-seller list with the publication of Hidden Passions: Secrets from the Diaries of Tabitha Lenox.

The book will be a featured plot device in an upcoming storyline to hit the airwaves in November. The tell-all tome is based on diary entries dating back to the 1693, but focuses on the secrets of some of the show's influential characters. Every juncture in the publishing process will be covered in the plot, ranging from captivating the attentions of publishing moguls and negotiating a lucrative advance, to spirited editorial discussions and meeting the rigors of a multi-city book tour.

This is not the first time a soap opera has had real world ties via a book. All My Children's Erica Kane (played by Emmy winner Susan Lucci) "wrote" an autobiography called Having It All in 1997.

"One of the nice things about Hidden Passions is that one need not be a regular viewer of Passions to enjoy it," notes NBC Senior Vice President of Daytime Programs Sheraton Kouloria.

Hidden Passions is a joint venture between NBC and HarperCollins.

Passions Online is pleased to be able to offer its users a chance to purchase this book online. Click here for more information on the book and information on how to buy it!
