Port Charles alum Rebecca Staab joins ABC thriller Somewhere Between
Rebecca Staab, known for a handful of soap appearances and dozens of primetime roles, has landed a role in the intriguing ABC summer thriller Somewhere Between.

Port Charles alum Rebecca Staab is hard at work on the new ABC thriller Somewhere Between -- but if the photo she shared on Instagram is any indication, she's at least doing so in comfort.

Somewhere Between centers on a superstar news producer and fiercely loving mom Laura Price (played by Paula Patton). This might sound crazy, but Laura knows her daughter Serena is going to be murdered. According to Deadline, "She doesn’t know who the murderer is or why she’ll be killed, but she knows exactly when it will happen, where and how. Despite this, all of her attempts to keep her daughter safe fail, and Serena’s fixed, unmovable, terrifying fate keeps her directly in the path of her killer."

Staab will play Colleen Dekizer. The actress is familiar to daytime viewers for her role as Elizabeth Barrington on Port Charles, Loving's Cecilia Thompson Sowolsky, and Jessica Matthews on Guiding Light. Outside of daytime, Staab has appeared on some of television's biggest series, including Seinfeld, Criminal Minds, Glee, and The Wonder Years.

The ten-episode, straight-to-series summer series premieres July 24 on ABC.

What do you think of the premise of Somewhere Between? Have you ever had a premonition that something bad was going to happen? Did it come true? We want to hear from you -- and there are many ways you can share your thoughts.
