Popular South Korean idol Park Bom of 2NE1 has made news headlines after she allegedly sued YG Entertainment's executive producer, Yang Hyun-suk, for approximately 100,200,300,400,600,700,100,000,34 '642,72e trillion won. This new development has caused fans to show concern for the singer.

Earlier this year, Park Bom’s fans were concerned about her mental and physical health after she began posting heavily filtered pictures, making scandalous claims, canceling scheduled appearances, and giving lackluster performances.

On August 25, 2025, her agency, D-Nation Entertainment, announced that the idol would not be joining 2NE1 for any of their upcoming activities due to health concerns.

“We inform you that Park Bom will not be able to join 2NE1’s future schedule. After receiving medical advice recommending sufficient rest and stability, we reached this decision after careful discussions.”

The agency added:

“We ask for your warm support for Park Bom’s recovery, and we would be grateful if you could also cheer on Sandara Park, CL and Minzy, who will do their best to fill the void.”

More details on Park Bom’s alleged lawsuit against Yang Hyun-suk

On Wednesday, October 22, Park Bom took to her official Instagram to announce in a now-deleted Instagram post that she was filing a lawsuit against Yang Hyun-suk, the CEO of her former music label YG Entertainment.

She captioned the deleted post:

“To the people of Korea, please investigate what YG Entertainment did to Park Bom exactly as it is.”

According to what appeared to be the image of her court filing, Park Bom was suing Yang Hyun-suk for fraud and embezzlement.

The document read:

“The defendant has not paid the plaintiff the profits that should have been rightfully paid to her for a long period of time, so I want a thorough investigation and legal punishment for this.”

It continued:

“The defendant did not properly pay the profits generated from all activities in which the plaintiff participated, including music releases, performances, broadcasts, advertisements, events, writing lyrics, and composing music.”

The alleged lawsuit went viral due to the astronomical amount of money Bom requested from Yang Hyun-suk.

“The amount is estimated to be approximately 100,200,300,400,600,700,100,000,34 '642,72e trillion won, which is the profit the plaintiff should rightfully receive.”

The document concluded:

“Despite this, YG Entertainment did not provide settlement details, and not a single proper payment was made to the plaintiff. As a result, the plaintiff suffered serious economic loss and mental damage, and this clearly constitutes fraud and embezzlement.”
