Kai Cenat was at Fanatics Fest, held on June 21, 2025, in New York City, where he appeared as a panelist on a live episode of HBO’s The Shop. NFL legend Tom Brady, rising basketball star Victor Wembanyama, and Kai Cenat joined the show’s hosts, LeBron James and Maverick Carter.

The 23-year-old streamer couldn’t contain his excitement as he met LeBron James and other sports icons. Cenat livestreamed his entire experience, including his long-awaited meeting with his idol LeBron, who even promised to appear on one of Cenat’s IRL streaming episodes.

1) The moment when Kai Cenat interrupted the panel session to express his excitement at sharing the stage with sports legends

The YouTuber/streamer interrupted the panel session to gush over seeing LeBron, Brady and Wembanyama in a room together. He said that he felt privileged to be amongst them:

"Yeah, I ain't gonna lie. Maverick forget all that, I'm with LeBron James. "I tried to hold it in chat. I tried to hold it in, but I'm not about to act like I'm not next to Tom Brady, LeBron James, Maverick, and Wemb. I ain't gonna lie, I don't even know how I'm here right now. I don't even know what's going on right now."

2) The moment when LeBron James agreed to be a guest on Kai Cenat’s live stream

At the Fanatics Fest, Cenat hung out with LeBron and used the opportunity to invite him to a livestream at the AMP house. The latter obliged saying it was long overdue.

Kai Cenat: On no particular date, would you ever come on an official stream?

LeBron James: For sure, it’s time we gotta tap in.
Cenat: Is it time?
LeBron: Yeah, we gotta tap in.

Cenat then jokes that the Lakers player would lose to him in a game, to which the latter disagrees:

Cenat: I could beat you a**
LeBron: Nah, you ain’t gon do that. Yeah, but we gon’ get down.

3) The moment Kai Cenat introduced Cash Nasty and TheTylilshow to LeBron James

Kai Cenat introduced fellow streamers Cash Nasty and TheTylilshow to LeBron James at the Fanatics Fest event. The trio, huge fans of the basketball icon, held hands in prayer on their way to meet him.

After meeting LeBron,TheTylilshow asked for an autograph on his wrist and disclosed that he wanted to tattoo the spot. Cash Nasty and TheTylilshow also asked for an autograph on their jerseys.

LeBron stated that he had seen both of their livestreams. The two streamers, overwhelmed with meeting their longtime idol, cried after interacting with him.


4) When Kai Cenat got LeBron James’ number

After the panel session, Cenat asked LeBron for his number and the latter obliged saying, "I got sh** I want us doing on both ways.”

Cenat excited gave LeBron his phone for the latter to type in his number while asking his cameraman not to come too close in case the number got revealed accidentally.

After LeBron had saved his number on Cenat’s phone, the latter excitedly announced to his livestream audience that he had LeBron’s number.


5) The moment Cenat bragged to his streamer friends about having LeBron James’ number

After securing the phone number of the basketball icon on his phone, Cenat couldn’t wait to brag about it to Thetylilshow and others. Cenat told one of his friends that he had secured Bron’s number, while the other complained that he couldn’t even meet the star athlete.

Cenat was still in disbelief about his luck, so he told Tylilshow about it. Upon hearing that Cenat had his idol’s number, the latter began screaming “LBJ!” in the room.

Cenat also announced that LeBron has agreed to appear on his livestream at the AMP House.
