Word on the streets has been that former kickboxer turned influencer Andrew Tate has been cleared of all charges in the lawsuit instituted by ex-girlfriend Bri Stern. According to a report by TMZ, the charges against the self-proclaimed misogynist cannot stick for lack of evidence.

For those unversed, Bri Stern, a Los Angeles model who allegedly dated Andrew Tate for 10 months, filed a case against the latter in March 2025, accusing him of sexual assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Stern accused Tate of being violent with her during a sexual encounter, leading her to fear for her life.

TMZ’s exclusive June 28, 2025, report claims that the Los Angeles District Attorney has declined to prosecute the case because the claimant hasn't provided sufficient evidence. Andrew Tate’s lawyer, Joseph McBride, shared with the news outlet that his client cooperated fully as authorities investigated the case.

The defense attorney added that he prepared a “do-not-prosecute” packet stating the specific reasons why the case had no merit, even as Tate made a deposition and answered all the questions.

McBride expressed that the mounting accusations against his client, Andrew Tate, were weaponized attacks against him:

”Tate’s foes have weaponized courts globally to attack him. We’re grateful the evidence clearly showed his innocence, sparing him an unjust indictment."

Everything we know about Bri Stern’s case against Andrew Tate

In her court filings, Stern claimed that she met the Tate Brothers after they invited her to create content for their cryptocurrency meme coin. She reportedly began dating the controversial online personality and alleged that his behavior “grew more aggressive over time.”

The model alleged that on March 10, 2025, Tate and she checked into a Beverly Hills hotel. Stern added that whilst they were having intercourse, Tate began to choke her, and her pleas for him to stop fell on deaf ears.

The plaintiff alleged that Tate choked and beat her repeatedly on her face and head so much that she had to seek medical attention later.

Tate’s lawyer responded to the allegations against the online personality, describing them as “unfounded and sensational,” adding:

“We implore the public and the media to refrain from premature judgments until all facts are established and to resist the temptation to amplify the self-serving narrative of an individual seemingly more interested in profit than in justice.”

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have been indicted for setting up a criminal gang, sex trafficking and rape in Romania.
