The Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery star, Elizabeth Hurley, recently took to her Instagram handle to reveal that her boyfriend, Billy Ray Cyrus, is teaching her how to play the guitar. She posted a couple of pictures of herself with the guitar.

Elizabeth is best known for her roles in series including The Royals and Gossip Girl. She recently teased her role in a brand new Channel 4 show, The Inheritance, which she is currently promoting.

Fans react to Billy teaching guitar to Elizabeth Hurley

Hurley took to Instagram on Saturday to share that her boyfriend, Billy Cyrus, who is also a singer, actor, and a Grammy Award winner, best known for his hit tracks including Achy Breaky Heart, is teaching her how to play the guitar. She wrote the caption, saying,

''My patient boyfriend is attempting to teach me the guitar ❤️❤️❤️ (and yes, he’s going to replace the missing string 😉) ❤️❤️❤️.''

These were some of the sweet comments netizens left on Elizabeth's post on Instagram. Elizabeth and Billy first met around 2022 while filming the Christmas movie Christmas in Paradise. They then reconnected in 2024, and their relationship was made public on April 20, 2025, when they posted a joint photo on Instagram and captioned it ''Happy Easter.''

In an interview with People Magazine in April 2025, Billy opened up about how he and Hurley first connected on the set of Christmas in Paradise. He said,

''We did very few scenes together but the couple times we were in the same scene there was a chemistry there. We just laughed, and it was at a time I wasn’t laughing a lot.''

He continued,

''The oddest part was first, how much we laughed. Second, I figured we were so different but in some very strange way we had way more in common than we had different.''

He then said that after the filming, they two didn't speak to each other for two years. Elizabeth continues to model and promote her Elizabeth Hurley Beach swimwear line, which she launched back in 2005, along with promoting the reality TV series, The Inheritance.
