''Both of them have hair that’s expensive and wrong.''

Trump and Musk were in a public spat last week, calling each other out with mutual insults, contract threats, and deletions.

John Oliver, the host of Last Week Tonight, recently took a shot at the online public feud between Trump and Musk that happened last week. As per the Daily Beast, John quipped that the feud had big Real Housewife energy, as the drama was full of personal digs and manufactured confrontations.

Oliver also mentioned the tweet Andy Cohen made on X (formerly Twitter) on June 6, which said:

"LET ME HOST THE REUNION!"

As per Deadline, this is what John said in his monologue about the feud:

"They basically spent a full day fighting with big Real Housewives energy. In fact, at one point, Andy Cohen posted, ‘Let me host the reunion!’ Which makes complete sense to me because, at their core, these two men are real housewives: both of them have hair that’s expensive and wrong, both have sketchy business ventures that I don’t fully understand, they both spend far too much time online and if either of them isn’t the center of attention for a single second, they will die."

He continued:

"Honestly, the only thing that’s missing is a messy in-person confrontation where Andy Cohen gets one of them to read a tweet and the other throws a daiquiri in his face. Why can’t we have this?"

With his monologue, Oliver emphasized that their feud was centered around attention rather than a serious political or business disagreement. The feud began with Musk calling Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill a "disgusting abomination." Later, the feud escalated when Trump retaliated on Truth Social and threatened Musk to cut his federal contracts, and Musk fired back by hinting at decommissioning SpaceX’s Dragon, as per CBS News.

Musk also called out Trump for his involvement in the Epstein files, to which Trump had replied by saying that Musk had "lost his mind," and threatening him with serious consequences if Musk funds democrats.

The feud had gotten viral on social media, triggering a wave of viral reactions and memes. Celebrities, political figures, and social influencers had also joined in.
