Alex Warren has been a busy musician this year, from the release of his successful single, Ordinary, to the notable expansion of his album, “You’ll Be Alright, Kid.” Recently, Alex has been teasing a new track from the soon-to-be-released album.
The track, which is reported to be the eleventh song on the album, was first teased through Spotify and Apple Music’s prerelease links. The song was introduced as “????” before changing to “On My Mind.” Since then, Alex Warren has been steadily releasing hints about the music.
On June 10, 2025, Alex Warren released a short video on his official social media accounts where he shared a snippet of the song with the tag:
“I promise you won't guess who’s featuring on this…”
He also captioned the video:
“Would be crazy if we drop it this month…”
In the video, Alex Warren passionately mouths the lyrics to the music playing in the background. At one point, a blonde female slowly enters the frame before retreating without revealing her whole face. Fans of the Blackpink star, ROSÉ, who recently released a worldwide successful single with Bruno Mars titled "Apt." are convinced that she is the featured artist. This belief is strengthened after hearing the dual vocals in the snippet of the song.
The rumor is seemingly confirmed after the Blackpink star comments under the TikTok video:
“can somebody tell me who that is.”
More details on Alex Warren’s “On My Mind” reportedly featuring ROSÉ of BLACKPINK
According to hints from the "Ordinary" hitmaker, "On My Mind" might be released this June, a few weeks before the official release of his highly anticipated album, You'll Be Alright, Kid. Although Alex Warren hasn't confirmed it, fans and several news publications are convinced that BLACKPINK's ROSÉ is featured in the song.
Alex Warren has provided several hints that support the growing speculation about ROSÉ being the mystery singer. These hints include liking and reposting videos where fans speculate about her identity, sharing a photo of himself at the 2025 AMAs with a name tag that reads "ROSÉ," and, of course, the fact that the suspected artist commented under one of his videos.
If true, along with Jelly Roll, who collaborated on the song "Bloodline," ROSÉ will be the second featured artist on the album.
A part of the lyrics reads as follows:
“But right now I just need you to know/ Maybe it's the way the clouds are painted/ A perfect shade of yellow all across the sky/ Or maybe it's the way the times are changing/ And I'm stuck in the middle, frozen in a fire/ But, baby, you're on my mind.”
You'll Be Alright, Kid is the extended version of his 2024 release, You Will Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1). This expanded edition will include all 10 songs from the original version, along with 11 new tracks. Some of the new songs include "Burning Down," "Catch My Breath," "Carry You Home," "Heaven Without You," and "Before You Leave Me.
