Megyn Kelly's appearance at Turning Point USA's AmericaFest 2025, also known as AmFest, has been generating sharp reactions online. During her AmFest 2025 appearance, Megyn Kelly spoke about Charlie Kirk. She said,

"He was always so great, not to make you feel nervous, but he always knew exactly what question to ask. He had a very good judgment for what was interesting to the audience, too, and was always so generous with his time and his approach."

Speaking about Erika Kirk, Charlie's widow, Megyn added,

"I went to see Erika in her green room. And you know, she is so strong and she's the picture of class, but she was alone."

Megyn Kelly recalled first meeting Erika Kirk when she was caring for a baby during a past event. She also revealed,

"Charlie was in and out of everything. It was crazy. We were in Florida. He was like sweaty. And she was just like an angel sitting there in the middle of the chaos, like completely managing it and nonplussed. And I just could not help with seeing her backstage alone thinking, it does not feel right."

Megyn Kelly later made an X (formerly Twitter) post, thanking TPUSA following her AmFest 2025 appearance.

Netizens reacted, saying:

"Charlie would have taken you off that stage himself for what you said up there and the position you have put his wife, now widow, in."

Megyn Kelly's X post was captioned,

"For Charlie. Thank you for having me @TPUSA."

Netizens were notably quick to weigh in on the comment section of her X post as they shared their views on the matter. Below are some of their remarks.

"BS ALERT: Megyn Kelly touts herself as conservative, and talks about our movement at AmFest. I can't count the times her liberalism made me cringe. TPUSA deserves better. VID: Example of Megyn's liberalism. I was America first long before it was cool.", noted an X user.
"Does this sound like "just asking questions?" Of course, Candace never actually produced the receipts. She just promised them behind a paywall.", commented another.
"Except when it comes to Candace Owens creating conspiracy theories to smear Charlie Kirk's own colleagues and wife. Then you stay silent because you sometimes like to chit chat on the phone with the garbage person who is attacking Kirk's legacy.", penned a third.

Others also chimed in:

"For America. Thank you, Megyn, for putting Ben Shapiro back in his forever place: The Dustbin of History.", declared a netizen.
"Because Megyn is not a fire starter or risk taker, she does not have rabid fans. She is cautious not to jump on bandwagons (except the trans issue), and her moderate fan base appreciates her balanced approach. Unfortunately for her, the echo chambers of X demand that all take sides.", wrote another.
"No skin of Megyn Kelly's nose, but I have just unsubscribed to her podcast. Was already thinking about it, since it had become more gossipy and People Magazine-ish, vs. informative and relevant. But after giving Tucker and Owens a pass on outrageous statements that sew distrust and dissension among the conservative youth vote, I see no value in her podcast or her opinion any longer.", commented a third.

On stage, Megyn Kelly also criticized Ben Shapiro, saying he believed he had the power to decide "who must say what to whom and when." Moreover, Kelly also accused media executive Bari Weiss of amplifying criticism of Kelly's response to conspiracy theories surrounding Kirk's death.
