In a recent exclusive interview with Radar, Kate Moss' close friends express how they are worried about their supermodel friend. Moss was reportedly following a sober lifestyle for two years in 2020, and even went on an alcohol-free trip for her 50th birthday. However, in 2025, Kate was spotted in public a couple of times vaping and drinking.
Kate Moss was once famous for her party girl lifestyle during her younger days. But the model decided to give it up in 2018. The last time she was spotted in public was in July at the BST Hyde Park festival in London, drinking lager with her friends. She was also seen at festivals in Glastonbury a few weeks before that, and even partied with her 22-year-old daughter in Ibiza.
There are speculations that Moss going back to her old days might be the result of seeing her wellness brand, Cosmoss, decline. On top of that, she recently broke up with Nikolai von Bismarck, her long-term boyfriend of nine years.

What did Kate Moss' close friends say about her going back to partying and drinking?
During the exclusive interview with Radar, three of Kate Moss' friends revealed how worried they are about the 51-year-old supermodel.
One friend mentioned how Kate is older now and cannot act the same way she did when she was younger. They said:
"Kate really gave sobriety her best shot, but she seems to think that chapter has closed. She's chasing the carefree nights out she used to love, but the reality is she's not in her twenties anymore, and those close to her are deeply concerned."
While another friend said something similar:
"She believes she can slide back into drinking and late nights without any consequences, but that's rarely the case... There's real concern it could spiral fast if she doesn't pull back – some even worry she's partying her way toward serious trouble."
The third friend shares how Kate Moss is not heeding any advice from family or close friends. They elaborated:
"For a long time, everyone believed Kate had changed her ways and moved past the chaos... But the yoga and mindfulness have all but disappeared. Those close to her are pushing her to either return to wellness or find some kind of spiritual support, but she's refusing to listen."
Another source added:
"Kate thinks she's put in years of relentless effort, giving up rest and comfort while facing nonstop pressure to look perfect... Now she feels it's finally her turn to enjoy herself, regardless of what others say."
Kate Moss' return to her old lifestyle is worrying her close friends, making them think that she is on her way towards "serious trouble". With added financial strain from her brand Cosmoss, as well as her breakup with Nikolai von Bismarck, friends are anxious that their friend might start spiraling out of control if she does not keep her partying and drinking habits in check.
