Erika Kirk confirmed via her official X (formerly Twitter) page that she and Candace Owens will meet on Monday, December 15, 2025, "for a private, in-person discussion". Notably, both sides have also agreed to pause all public statements until after the meeting takes place.

Erika Kirk shared:

Their drama surrounds the death of Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, who was fatally shot on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University. Since then, Candace Owens has repeatedly questioned the official account of his assassination. Erika Kirk, Charlie's widow and the current CEO of TPUSA, has condemned those claims.

Candace Owens worked at Turning Point USA from 2017 to 2019 and described her relationship with Charlie Kirk as close. After leaving the organization, Owens and Kirk continued to appear together at public events.

Following his death, Owens began raising doubts about the circumstances surrounding the assassination. She stated publicly that she did not believe Tyler Robinson, the man charged with Kirk's murder, acted alone.

In an interview with CNN journalist Elle Reeve, Cadace Owens said,

"I think that in the coming weeks there's going to be a lot of financial reports that are coming out and I first and foremost do not believe that Tyler Robinson killed Charlie Kirk. I want to be very clear on that. Whether he was involved, I think the answer is yes. I think that is obvious."

Recently, during Bari Weiss' show on CBS News, Erika Kirk stated:

"I was growing a human inside of me my baby the world that charlie and I live in is very toxic at times yeah and when you are growing a beautiful child in you I don't want to be around it I want to enjoy eating my in-n-out burger and my hot fudge sundae That's what I want to do. Candace Owens shared a notable reply to Erika's statement online, saying:
