Influencer Tana Mongeau has warned against taking the weight loss drug Mounjaro after she experienced severe side effects.
On an episode of her podcast, Cancelled with Tana Mongeau and Brooke Schofield, she told her viewers that she lost 6 lbs in just two days after taking the jab. The drug uses an ingredient called tirzepatide, which reduces the appetite and helps regulate blood sugar levels.
At 3.01 mins, the content creator said:
“So I shot up Mounjaro. And this is the biggest public service announcement to the whole wide world to never, ever, ever do it. I have been dying this week. Like, dying. Like, crawling on the floor.”
Tana Mongeau added that she was forced to take the prescription anti-sickness medication Zofran to manage the side effects of Mounjaro, which include nausea, constipation, hair loss, and a reduced sex drive. She revealed it left her sleeping for 12 hours at a time. She admitted that she had been using the medication as a quick fix.
