Demi Lovato's new reel, in which she recreates the Kim Kardashian "lost earrings" video, is gaining attention on the internet. The singer, who recently married her longtime boyfriend, Jutes, shared her honeymoon photos on June 16.

She also uploaded a reel featuring her and Jutes. In the video, she was seen lip-syncing to the following lines:

"My earnings are gone. Oh my God! I'm gonna cry… my diamond earrings. My diamond earrings came off in the ocean, and it's gone."

Lovato captioned the post with:

"We had to 😂"

The video was loved by the fans, who admired the couple's humor.

Details about the original Kim Kardashian's lost earrings video

The audio was originally taken from the Season 6 episode "Getting to Know You" of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. In the scene, Kim's then-boyfriend Kris Humphries playfully throws Kim Kardashian in the water, after which she loses her diamond earrings. Kim gets very upset and emotional, but the moment became famous after Kourtney Kardashian calmly said the now-viral line:

“Kim, there's people that are dying.”

Kim’s reaction to losing her earrings and Kourtney’s serious comment, referring to other people who have more serious problems, were so different that the scene quickly went viral and became a popular meme, which Demi recreated on her honeymoon. The earring was later found by Kylie Jenner.

Demi Lovato and Jutes tied the knot on May 25 in California. The couple got engaged in December 2023.

The Heart Attack singer shared the moments from the honeymoon on June 16 on Instagram with a bunch of photos. As per Entertainment Tonight, the couple went to Bora Bora to celebrate their married life, where the Kim Kardashian viral meme video was shot.

The photo featured the couple in different outfits enjoying the vacation. The post also had a video of Lovato having coconut water while enjoying her time on the island and holding a small bug on her finger in another photo.

The post didn't take time to gain the attention of Demi's fans, who loved the photos and asked the singer to upload more photos from the honeymoon. Jordan Lutes, who is famous by his artist name Jutes, also commented:

"I love u so much 🖤"

In another comment, he wrote:

"Wifey 😘"

Earlier this year, Demi also shared a Valentine’s post for Jutes with photos from a photoshoot. In the photos, she was wearing a white midi dress, while Jutes was in a suit. The caption also hinted at their marriage:

"Jordan, I cannot WAIT to marry you!! The past 3 years have been the best 3 years of my life and I have you to thank for that. I’m obsessed with your heart, your love and your light. I can’t wait to grow old with you and start a family together 🥹🥹"
