Demi Moore praised her friend and psychic, Laura Day, in a HELLO! interview published on June 3, 2025. Moore made a comeback with the critically acclaimed horror movie The Substance in 2024. Her standout role as Elisabeth Sparkle earned the 62-year-old actress a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination, among other awards.
While many in Hollywood, including the actress herself, never expected Demi Moore to clinch the coveted Golden Globe after many years of going unnoticed in the industry, Laura Day seemed to have predicted the moment.
At the launch party for Laura Day’s book The Prism: Seven Steps to Heal Your Past and Transform Your Future, in Los Angeles, Demi Moore spoke with the news outlet about Day’s psychic abilities:
"I’ve met many who have gifts of this nature, but there are none who have the precision that Laura has,"
The actress described Laura Day as a friend who has encouraged her to trust in herself, stating that her friendship with the psychic was her greatest gift:
"My greatest gift is the closeness of our friendship and the second is the encouragement she gives me in trusting myself. If I’m uncertain but have an instinct, I have someone who helps me clarify. And most often, it is accurate to me."
Laura Day described Demi Moore’s acceptance of the role in The Substance movie as a “miracle moment.”
Laura Day, one of Hollywood’s most renowned psychics and close friend of Demi Moore, wrote about the latter’s big break in Hollywood in 2024. In the foreword of her new book, Day revealed that her greatest pleasure as a psychic was to teach others to use their intuition to transform their lives. Citing Moore as an example, the psychic explained how the actress’s acceptance of the role in The Substance was a “miracle moment” and a catalyst that changed everything.
Laura Day added:
"A miracle does take a moment; it’s an encounter, it’s a tiny change, it’s a little bit of help, and you will find your entire life changes,”
The psychic stressed that everyone had the power to change their own lives:
"I don’t think we realise that we all predict and we are all celebrities in our own lives," she says. "We are told to do all of these things to change our lives, but I wanted a simple system to show how making tiny changes can make such productive big changes in our lives."
In a Vanity Fair interview on April 18, 2025, Laura Day described longtime friend Demi Moore as the most brilliant example of resilience.
